The mission of the Angel Project was conceived long before our founding in 2011, and it continues to evolve. Our mission is responsive to a critical evaluation of contemporary, historical, and cultural understandings of marriage in the modern world.

Love should never come with a price tag attached. Marriages are significant events, not only for the families involved, but also for society as a whole. Studies have shown that married couples tend to be in a better financial situation and have a lower likelihood of separating, compared to couples who simply live together. We believe in the power of love and marriage to reflect God's grace and provision. Our goal is to use our talents and resources to serve those in need. Through our works, we hope to share the love of Christ and be a blessing to each and every couple we have the privilege of serving.

Making Weddings Accessible for All - Bridging the Gap in the Wedding Industry.

The wedding industry is not doing enough to make its services accessible to all. In particular, the COVID-19 pandemic has made weddings an unaffordable expense for many couples, particularly for those who belong to underprivileged, marginalized, and financially vulnerable groups. This is a major issue that needs to be addressed in order for the industry to be more inclusive and accessible to everyone.

Breaking Down Barriers, Building Stronger Communities.

Decreasing marriage rates are a growing concern, and communities of color, such as Black communities, are particularly vulnerable to these trends. The exclusivity and high cost of weddings only serve to worsen the situation, reinforcing barriers for those who are already disadvantaged. Wedding professionals need to find a way to make weddings more accessible to those in financial need. It is important for the wedding industry to ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, has the opportunity to celebrate their love and start their lives together in a meaningful way.
