2022 The Korean American Association of Greater New York Gala

A non-profit organization, KAAGNY has served to connect Korean Americans to one another as well as to the American mainstream. It also acts as an umbrella organization to 500 other non- profit organizations which provide all American of all ages and economic backgrounds with assistance and services in areas including education, culture and community outreach. 2022 Gala was held at Ziegfeld Ballroom 24th of Feb. to celebrate and acknowledge over 350 donors who put there effort and heart to help out.


KAGGNY has launched the “share the love food relief campaign” to assist marginalized low income families who are experiencing food insecurity during the pandemic. Due to continuing generous donation KAGGNY has raised over 1.2 million$ and every dollar up to 50000$ will be matched in terms of food purchase value by H mart. Through the campaign KAGGNY is providing a family of up to 2 person with $100 voucher and family of more than 2 with $200 voucher monthly for period of 5 months, serving over 1600 families.


Korean cosmetic brand company EBIN New York donated PPE such as face shield, hand sanitizers worth $210,000 to La Jornada food pantry services in Queens. The donation was arranged by KAAGNY and congress women Grace Meng to help out local community in New York. The founder of H Mart, which the largest Asian supermarket chain in America donated over $500,000 worth food to the program.
